Gospel text ( Lc 6,20-26): Lifting up his eyes to his disciples, Jesus said, «Fortunate are you who are poor, the kingdom of God is yours. Fortunate are you who are hungry now, for you will be filled. Fortunate are you who weep now, for you will laugh. Fortunate are you when people hate you, when they reject you and insult you and number you among criminals, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, for a great reward is kept for you in heaven. Remember that is how the ancestors of this people treated the prophets.

Appears to be the idea that Alexander, allegedly a sodomite, conquered just about the whole know world, because of what he did not so privately, which is what sodomites are all about; not because of the great general he was... and then history show us that well, he died at everyone does and now... we are suppose to admire his sodomy and not so much his military accomplishments, which by the way, showed not to be as cohesive as his empire did not last too long.

What!!!!! I thought California was actually facing bankruptcy. I guess priorities for certain people are only about themselves... point in case, selfishness is the problem. Taking precedence over real matters that actually concern the whole state, or nation.

We are all ignorant pretending to know everything. There are those ignorant because they did not have the opportunity to acquire education as well as there are those who had the opportunity and still they chose to remain as ignorant or more as they could ever be. Christ on the cross, asked God the Father; Father forgive them because they do not know what they are doing; and He was including every single one of us; Romans, Pharisees, and everyone else, because through our ignorance we had perpetrated the injustice of the crucifixion and decided to just be quiet and observe, enjoy the spectacle. Jesus showed us with His resurrection that we have hope and that life does not end with our path through the world.

I’d like to put down some comments to what was placed as issues towards this article in the National Post. The question is: I think the parent has her head in the sand. What will this woman do if one of her children is homosexual? Comment: Pray, always pray and then, expose the truth. There is no such a thing as a child of anyone becoming a sodomite just because. The truth needs to be exposed and explained. Our nature is of men and women and nothing in between. Yes, there are some birth defects and some people that look and act 'different' and all deserve our love and respect. But that does not mean teach and absolve sin, least sinful life styles.

Peace can only be possible with the truth, and absolute truth, not a relative one. It can be argued that Israel has its truth and that Palestine and with it, the whole Arab and Persian world has its own truth; but still the actual fact is that only one truth exists and if peace is the word so much utilized across decades of negotiations, then peace needs to be that elusive truth, the common goal, the point of concurrence.
