It so appears that for some time now, not just foul language but straight profanity as well, has become the norm in entertainment. Are we supposed to be so plain stupid as to follow just were the language is as opposed to simple artistic or even entertainment value? If the answer is that it is some sort of venue to discharge frustration, maybe looking at some much more worthy cultural values becomes imperative. Foul language and profanity, has been for centuries the way of the culturally alienated to express frustration about his/her entrapment in vulgarity and the apparent inability to escape from it. For the media, clearly the intention is to keep that alienation in order to sell and profit from it, regardless of the consequences. No wonder they are all for family disintegration, marriage mockery and children murdering, all in the name of cultural alienation.
Gospel text ( L uke 11,1-4): One day Jesus was praying in a certain place and when He had finished, one of his disciples said to him, «Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples». And Jesus said to them, «When you pray, say this: Father, hallowed be your name, may your kingdom come, give us each day the kind of bread we need, and forgive us our sins, for we also for-give all who do us wrong, and do not bring us to the test»
